It's worth a look thanks guys. Are we talking blocked at boiler? Or in microbore? I know it could be anywhere technically but I just wondered if you had a particular point in mind

I'd say blocked on the ground floor somewhere, if boilers in loft and 1st floor rads heat up fine.

Can you get underneath the floor to look for microbore manifolds?

I believe that all the downstairs radiators are on drops meaning that the manifold is probably upstairs. It's such a strange plumbing set up that it wouldn't surprise me if the drops were on the end of individual 15 or 22 mm carcass All the downstairs radiators are kind of in extreme positions downstairs almost at each corner of the house if that makes sense

I'd say its more likely if none of the GF rads heat up that they go back to a manifold rather than just being microbore tails dropping to the rads off 15 or 22

What you say makes sense mate it just fills me with dread a bit the fact that these are going to be bloody long runs in microbore

Ha ha used Siri to write that last one by voice and it wanted to make microbore. My cripple. Thought that was apt

hah, good luck with it. I suppose if its already blocked you've got nothing to loose and could try flushing it through, might work, or you could end up with a blocked and now leaking microbore mess.

I know, the other issue is finding the damn manifold. It's such a huge house it could be anywhere
