I had to do a HW cylinder swap for the first time the other day, when i came to making the connections i used ptfe and water hawk. I had to empty it 3times and ammend the feed connection as it kept seeping. I thought i had sorted it, but have just had the customer ringing saying its seeping. I have put ptfe and compound on it and it still seeps. Please any ideas what to do? Also i never noticed this but apparntly there was a pipe near thefeed and expansion tank that every now and then throws out a cup full of water apparntly. Im assuming this should have a bleed valve or similar on it, apparantly it never spat water out before i did the swap, but now it is, im assuming maybe its just air getting caught and escpaing, but il have a better idea on that when i go round and have a second look. Please any thoughts onthat too. But my main issue is with this seeping connection. Will i have to just use like a whole roll of ptfe and loads of compound i dont know. Please any thoughts. Thankyou

is water hawk no good then? Any specific liquid ptfe? never had to use it til now????

Vent pipe or warning/overflow?
If the former check stat settings if the latter maybe f+e no longer big enough/water level set to high.

Hi Wrecked 24-7, the threads are parallel and not tapered so its hard to get a watertight seal. Try Loctite 55? and LSX. Wrap the loctite sealing cord around each thread then smear the lsx on. This should do it.
P.S. also repeat on immersion thread
