The V2000 (Philips) was actually a very good system but was the first of the 3 video formats to go followed by Betamax (Sony). V2000 was actually reckoned to be a superior system to both the other two

too much time on there hands , or not a good scrappie round there way. lol looks good though

You can use that solder glue stuff that doesn't require heat to join it all together.

I'd personally weigh it in at Scrappies and go to Argos with the dosh.
 
I once got the apprentice to make a copper holder for the van to keep the big loo-roll in, was not much more than a couple of bends though!
