What boiler is it, an ideal icos? an ideal logic? post a picture.

maybe the flue is full of debris, take a look down the flue with the boiler turned off.

The general public think they are getting a good house when they buy new build. In reality most new builds are terrible quality and built by tradesmen that are on the lowest wages working 5 times faster than they should do meaning every thing is done to cut corners. Never ever buy the shower house, it will be held together by paint.

Im currently working on new build and every day im shocked by what i see. Ive been on several sites the last few months and not one has the gas pipework done correctly. New builds are sold on the finished look theres cancer behind the makeup.

slightly off topic, but i know what your saying about newbuilds, but why is it the poor developers always need public money to get them to build houses? they keep saying its because of the cost of building a house that they dont make enough. i think its probably BS myself.

personally i wouldnt entertain most newbuild barratt hutches there far too tiny. why do people buy them? if people said bugger off im not living in a house half the size, they wouldnt sell any.
