hi all
can someone help me ,I added some extra radiators into a system , when I came to bleed the system I could not get the radiators downstairs to get hot (these are part of the old 10 mm system . any way I messed about with it for 2 days still no joy, as it was a relative I said I will leave for a few days after about 4 days the rads suddenly started working, so obviously there was an airlock somewhere ,my question is now I need to put in an inhibiter, as its a gas fired combi whats the best to put the chemical in the system whithout draining the whole system.and creating an air lock again.
thanks

turn off both valves on your bathroom rad, drain some water out. then take of bleed bung and add inhib.

pity you havnt got a magnaclean installed, protects sysyem and can be used as a dosing point, worth thinking about !!!
