i am on the intergas course this wk. but they have emailed saying my insurance needs to be 2million to offer their 5 year warranty - what has my insurance got to do with their warranty

It's part of their terms of membership of the installer scheme. I thought 2 million was the minimum for Gas safe anyway.

You need to be listed as a gas fitter and hot works too on the public liability.

just phoned my insurance it would be another £110 per year to increase to 2 m that makes the premium £460 what is the average

lamazing value to be honest, the cheapest for me by far, mine was 286 this year and is 2 million with 1000 quids worth of tool insurance.

My mates with direct line and they are really expensive.

what a load of rubbish just had email saying course starts at 1pm fri and ends at 4.30 what can you learn in that time I am not traveling that distance to hear crap sales titer tater I thought their course was supposed to be a good one ? at least on the ideal course you got to totally strip and rebuild a boiler I am so disappointed what did other do on the intergas course

Their website says it's hand-on! At least you got on a course - I filled in the contact page on their website and got a blank email back from them

The course is only that long due to the few parts the Boiler has and they don't give u much sales bull! The fact is you can strip one of their boilers down in minutes......I found the course interesting.

Been on the course, met up with Buckley plumb.

The course was way to short and only skimmed the surface in my opinion. I've got the five year warranty anyway.
Setting the parameters looks quite complex to me.
