Manufacturers fixed price repairs

Do you offer this to customers or not?

Example, I have a 10 year old Vaillant with f62 could be PCB or gas valve
PCB is around £250 for the part
Fixed price repair around £300

I have just repaired it with a new pressure sensor for F75 and luckily they had F62 before I arrived so I am not to blame

A couple of years ago, I was meeting with a heating supplier in regards to a service contract for their heaters.
I asked for a price list for their spare parts so that I could quote / charge for repairs on the spot.
I would have to have parts on hand for repairs and wanted to know the amount of stock I would have to have on hand.
He printed out the price list for me and put it in a binder.

Somehow, their cost price sheet was added.
Their cost from the manufacture for a PCB was $45.00.
Their price to me for servicing their boilers under contract was $225.00.
Their list price was near $350.00.

My normal price for the PCB was 275.00, if I didn't have a service contract. (This is what I had been paying in the past)

That's the mark up the spare parts

F75 can turn very bad especially when it turns into an intermittent fault.

It’s a common part which gets blocked quite often.
