Hi Chaps,
Just replaced an old switch master 3 port valve for a Honeywell(salus). Wiring is slightly different. Anyway..client reported banging noise and pipework very hot..Thought I'd bled the primary. Thought manual air vent on flow was in good order?
Can only be more Air??
Any suggestions?

Sounds like maybe an air lock, how did you get on,what was problem ?

Turns out it was an Air lock. Put a AAV on which sorted problem. Turned out the manula Air vent was faulty..Doohh!
