Mixer Shower

Ok, very poor pressure on shower, wc and basin taps in ensuite (Both H & C). Took up boards to look at pipes. Found:-
1 x 22mm Dia feeding HOT shower outlet and HOT tap
1 x 15mm Dia feeding COLD tap and WC Cistern
1 x 15mm Dia feeding COLD shower.

Is this the way it should be acc to Regs? I thought shower would be separate. Want to f9it a power pump and suppose I need to separate the Hot Tap and the hot shower by running a new pipe?

To fit a shower pump you probably have to fully repipe it, look at pump manufacturors websites fo diagrams and information.Hope this helps.

But is the current pipework "correct"
Also, if I put pump on floor of airing cupboard, as normal, Would it be ok to run pipes back up into loft, across, than down into ensuite again, to prevent killing the floor...?

That will probably have be the way you need to do it, the existing pipework was ok for it's purpose but if your putting a pump in the mixer will have to have it's own independent feeds from the cws, cylinder and pump otherwise the pump will come on when other appliances are used and further more would not be balanced.
Most inportant for safety is pump must have it's own cold feed from the cws and outlet below the hot so if it runs empty hot will go off first and not scald the user.

My shower pump requires 22mm pipes and thankfully was upstairs with the hot tank in the loft. All I did was re-pipe direct 22mm feeds to the shower pump.
