Hi I have to buy a new boiler. What would be the best option for a 3 bed mid terrace house with solid walls. I dont want one that costs the earth so need a balance of cost and efficiency. Can anyone recommend one please? Thanks.

Need lots more info mate. You'd be best off getting three quotes from Gas Safe engineers

Thanks for the replies so far. I would prefer a combi as you get instant hot water . It only has one bathroom.

Problem here is mate you'll probably get a dozen different answers. For my money I would say Glow-worm Energy at the mo 7 year warranty well made boiler. You'll probably hear half a dozen and other manufacturers here in a short space of time though. This is why I suggest getting some engineers into quote as they will have their boilers of choice that they are familiar with and may be able to offer extended warranties and similar.

Lovely thankyou.

How about supporting Ray.

At least if there are any issues, they can be vented directly at the supplier on this forum.
