I had recently replaced my old rads with Quinn Compact rads. One of the rads (in the bathroom) produces, what I can describe as a ‘banging’ noise whenever it is heating up or cooling down. The sound is similar to this one but with much lesser frequency - http://soundbible.com/917-Banging-Radiator.html. It typically lasts couple of minutes. Other rads are ok. Is there a problem with the radiator? Can it be fixed or replacement is needed?

Thanks again!

I got feedback that maybe of use to someone else: - the noise is likely due to CONTRACTION AND EXPANSION OF RAD RUBBING ON BRACKETS THAT HOLD IT UP.
NORMALLY THE RAD BRACKETS HAVE PLASTIC BITS WHICH GO ON BRACKETS SO THERES NO METAL TO METAL CONTACT.
