Unfortunately it would seem you either need to buy a part or put the money towards getting an engineer out. The first thing I would do is put a pressure gauge on the oil pump, the pressure may be too low, the drive dog could be slipping or the fire valve could have tripped out, once you have established that the pump is ok and you are getting the correct pressure only then would you go for something else like the photocell. Fault finding is not a trial and error it is going through a sequence to confirm that various parts are working. The problem could be with the control box but all these checks would lead to the cause rather than just changing parts and guessing. Any engineer worth his salt would have the parts on his van to get you going.
