Power Flushing

Hi peeps i need some advice here, only type of system cleaning i have done in the past is taking Rads off 1 by 1 and blasting um with hosepipe ive had 2 or 3 phonecalls now enquiring about power flushing and ive had to decline due to not having the correct kit
After watching vids on youtube im looking at the Fernox Powerflush mk11 ive seen the prices and there quite steep but i have no idea what sort of prices you would charge for this im from East yorkshire and i have been cheeky and rang other plumbers for quotes but they have wanted to visit to check out my system so ive had to say ill get back to you

so if anyone could give any advice on average prices for flushing a system it would be great if its worthwhile im paying the £50 fernox are asking for the training course and buying one

Why don't you hire one and pass the cost onto the customer. Tell them it will take one day and charge by the hour.

We price it per rad, usually about £50

Depends on your intentions:

1. Want to be busy with power flushing all day every day! £300
2. Just doing it for your regulars £500
3. Hate it with a passion £1200

somewhere between 1 and 2 will pay the machine off quickly, any higher and it will take a while to get money back from machine!!

ive asked a guy who used to be on the tools near me he now owns a shabby bathroom showroom/trade counter he said he charges £250 but he knows people who are doing it for £100

i guess if i get any calls asking for this service ill state to the custard prices start from £250 then ask more questions why he need a flush blah blah and bore him to death then take rads into account and stuff, i was hoping to to a typical 10 rad house for like £350ish

guess ill do more homework, its a service i would like to offer but ofcourse its having people wanting it
