£350 to fit ferolli , £9000 for all the return vists after first year.

Just to be clear on that sorry.

The last time a landlord said about a Ferroli I vehemently objected and he ended up stumping 900 for a Baxi with 10 year warranty

Only ever fitted 1 Ferroli and that was enough haha

mk, love the tee shirt. ha! ha! i think if you have got it flaunt it comes to mind

last combi i did was £2,500.00+vat for a vaillant ecotec plus 824. It does include powerflush, wireless stat, prv and limefighter on cold main. 2 men 1 day. This is in london though.

Just priced £5800 for vaillant 937 with 300l cold water accumulator new rads/TRV's upstairs and underfloor in extension. Along with upgrading cold water main and gas.

still don't think the builder will go for it though

Just over £2k... But that covers installation of the dpm and insulation for the u/f

Oh, and a bathroom (1st and 2nd fix) labour

It's for a friends dad, so I thought I'd pin it down.

But as soon as I gave the price it was if I'd kicked him in the Baxi lol

Sometimes you try and do people a very good price but the scope of works just does not match budget!

I'm going to give an absolute full breakdown of everything and if he feels he Dan get it cheaper then I want to speak to the guy who is doing it to see where I went wrong lol.

Unfortunately there's lots of guys out there cutting corners to save a buck

MK

Nobody cheap enough to beat that will even know what an accumulator is, never mind how to install one.

His 'mate' recommended he has an unvented cylinder as this would sort out all his dhw demand... Despite having dog s*** mains.

I've price for gas and cold main upgrade to accumulator and 937 in loft (which is priced pretty much the same as a boiler and m/f)

Have tried to explain though that this would be better than any unvented as mains pressure is so poor.

would love to know how some peoples minds work :86:

For same price and better for u.
Leave gas
Leave water

Large cistern , 24kw logic plus
Conventional cylinder, pump on hot and cold.

I'll put it to him mate, sometimes keeping it simple is best.

Do you think 24kw would be sufficient for 4 bed, 2 reception rms and the underfloor heating?

Cheers
