Evening all,
Just a quick one really as gas safe website doesn't seem to help.

When carrying out a gas safety inspections for landlords etc, Do you need to have a ticket for each appliance on site, ie one for boilers and one for gas fires if there is a boiler and a gas fire in the porperty for you to be able to complete a saftey cert?
I am unsure as it is a safety check does you core module not give you the qualification to be able to complete this?? just not service/install the appliance you dont have the ticket for??

Hope someone can clear this up for me....
cheers in advance

yes you need separate quals for each appliance you work on

if your working for someone dont let them flatter you into a tight corner jd, the safety cert has your name on it and if your new to this game reg 36 has two distinct obligations for the landlord. an annual safety check and ongoing maintainence their seperate but related and you might find someone will try to twist your arm into working outside your competence then your sticking your head in an unscrupulous landlord mouths
