The customer just emailed me asking if I an do it for £150.......i said the price is £200.

Why would he say he got a quote for £140 then offer £10 more.

I'm thinking he will probably be a pain in the butt....
Honestly unless you're scraping for work, this is not the type of customer you want. £200 is to0 cheap already.

Just say ok I will do you a favour I will do it for £250 lol.

Ive just quoted to change 4 rads. All on twin entry valves.
I quoted 360. I'm the slowest plumber there is in every possible way but hope to get them done in the day. Theyre bloody big rads though.
High / Low? Havent heard from them yet

Charged extra for materials. I want it done in the day so couldnt warrant charging any more but I dont want to be traipsing down the stairs with 2mtr radiators for nothing. I think I might need a hand with them - save me ruining the house

How much you getting the rads for? I am doing 7 rads and the parts are £360+vat and I'm quoting £980! Lol

Your rads sound cheap for 7. Must be small
Whats that, 545 for 7. 360 is probably about right. Do you get them done in 2 days?

Not really small. 2 600x800 k1 the rest are k2. Yeah I'm aiming to change them all, flush system, service boiler and connect hob 2 days should be easy I think oh and all new valves as well.

Replaced 6 rads two weeks ago in Purley. Job was quoted to be done Thursday and Friday. Customer pleaded I do them Friday and Saturday. Luckily I said yes (two of the rads were 600x1800 & 600x2000 dbl panels), so he helped me lift those. Because of his help, I decided not to charge Saturday rate. Quote, £1,300 all in.
