I have been asked to quote to install a radiator in a conservatory that is currently being built.
I have fitted and replaced rads in a conservatory in the past but, not for a few years, I understand there are now regulations for heating a conservatory.
I have asked the homeowner if he knows about any regs, he said the builder hasn’t mentioned it, he’s also had 3 others to quote for the heating work and nobody has mentioned regs.
I have had a quick Google and the results just seem to be to forums and conservatory companies.

Has anyone got any facts on the current regulations please?

What about under floor heating?
I did suggest this to the potential customer, he seems to just want a rad connected to the existing heating system
I am not doing this job unless it’s to regs, I’m really surprised he’s had 3 people visit to price, including the largest independent heating company in the area, and not one has mentioned regs.
unless he does know but wants a cheap job.

Looks like @SimonG was correct - have a look at this: Building Regulations | Conservatories | Planning Portal - https://www.planningportal.co.uk/info/200130/common_projects/10/conservatories/3

Problem is it’s worded as there should be so it’s open ended depending on your interpretation
