I am repiping my whole house and changing from combi boiler to a 30kW system boiler & 250Ltr or 300Ltr unvented indirect hw tank.

Can somebody give advice on my rough plans/sketches for repiping my radiators using 22mm & 15mm. I have only shown the flow line as the return line will just be a replica. I have attached blank drawings if anybody could shown me a better way.

Is my boiler and hw tank size sufficient for this?

Thanks in advance.

Copper or plastic ?

1 15mm
2 22mm
3 28mm

Are the last 2 pictures on zone two joined eg up stairs and down stairs or are they individually run / zone 3 etc ?

Can I ask explanation for why 28mm pipe used?

Because of part L regs all homes must to suitable going forward for an ashp and a max flow of 55 used to calculate rads and pipework

Would use 28mm on the upstairs until it splits off then go off the drawing

Thanks for the information mate, ill look into this.

I was hoping to avoid 28mm cooper because of the price haha. If i need to use it then I will just have to bite the bullet.
