Hello,

Heating not working and a new baby in the house. I really need help and hope this is the place to get it.

I have a Galliant ecotec bolier with a honeywell thermostat.

When I press I on the boiler the msg S.30 comes up. The boiler itself runs hot water, fires up and pumps water into the radiators for a short while then switches off. I can restart the boiler and it triggers the radiators for a short time.

I am not a plumber so don't have the exp to read the fault and fix it.

Advice much appreciated.

Andrew

press the grey override button on your thermostat this should override it for a short while ,failing that you will need a gas engineer to call

Yeah - sorry its a Valliant. The boiler works in every way apart from the thermostat telling the boiler to switch the radiators on. I can get the radiators to work for a short time by switching the whole thing off and on (like a faulty computer) The s.30 msg is all i have to go on.

Anyone?
