up stairs rad tho it was a nightmare but cleared, it was catching on the return, wee pop and bang and it came out,

Tbh wet vac is very handy clearing water out tanks, or when you spill that lovely black stuff which goes everywhere, etc

Went back, cold feed ran ok. Bled rads again ,slowly improved. Tried back filling couldnt get water up drain valve, water pouring out of thread. Bled again eventually got red hot. Then auntie says radiators havent been hot since her son did bathroom 6 years ago.

Lessons learnt; dont drain old systems, warn custards there may be problems ahead, find out if there are already problems.

sounds like the pumps blocked or not pumping to me, also try the feed.

if there is half n half in the top reds then it is not filling by pumping possibly, also manual by pass the port valve lever.

I saw fast freddy win the 250/500 gp's on the same day in silverstone way back in 85....never rained as much ever.....soaked to the skin all day!!! and foggy was a joy to watch.....mad eyes!!! lol

i once went on the back of a honda 440 doing 70-90 down some country lanes, village to village stopping of at every pub for a pint back in 1980.
after the fourth pub i realized that i was pinion to ron haslem. only went because he cadged the bike from a mate and i thought he might not return it. i had brown stains down me pants when we got back.lol.

another funny one, well to me is,

another mate used to go racing somewhere near melton mowbray?.
he always rode there, raced then rode back.
one monday he didnt turn up for work and i heard he came of his bike on the trip home and skidded on a cow pat in the middle of the road...broke both legs and wrote the bike off.lol.
