Excuse the 1st question of mine asking for help.

Tried searching the net to no avail.

Need to know if this Gas Fire is requiring an Air Vent if we decide to go for cavity wall insulation.

Apparently if its over 6 kw then we need ventilation.

Much appreciate any assistance.

Hi
It's not just based on the output.
Type of chimney, other appliances, room area. And mostly does it draw flue gasses.

All of this should be checked by a gas safe registered engineer. These tests will determine weather an air vent is neededPlease get one for this. It won't cost much, then you know you are safe.
Regards.

It should have an information plate/label , do you know make of fire ? if so you may be able to down load service & installation book
