recently installed a ecotec plus 831, 1 week later customer found there is leaking under the boiler, i opened it, looks the cold water inlet is leaking, called vaillant service line, booked a service, they texted me a guy would call me before 9am to confirm when they came, but did not call, the engineer did not turn up either, then called again, they said engineer did not find the car park, but i told they cleary the underground car park is just under the building, i repeated again and said 13 pounds for 2 hours parking, the they insisted that i should pay for the parking, or no one can come, i really do not think it is my job waiting in the car park and pay for the fee, certainly the landlord does not think he should pay for that, so no one come, bloody cold winter, for just 13 pounds vaillant decides to leave the customer in cold...

have to say vaillant service is worst i ever known

I wouldn't pay £13 for 2 hours that's extortionate! Where abouts is that?

I must say though every time we called Vaillant out on a company I worked for a few years ago they were really good (I did know the engineer though so not sure if that helped and they didn't have to pay a fortune on parking)

Maybe they are just too busy doing all the services that they have taken off the installers!

Had them out a couple of times on boilers i've installed and they've always been really good.

Another time though one of their engineers left a flue disconnected and the boiler in full working order; all he did was switch it off on the button. With no flue attached. But that's another story.
