the boiler requires a stat for boiler interlock and it will also save you £30-£100 plus a year at a guess.

it should be increased in size internally before it goes outside otherwise its likely to freeze leaving you without your boiler working on a very cold day.

So it's a glowworm not a valliant. The gas pipe is sleeved but not sealed to the building fabric nor is it sealed to the gas pipe.
