Evening all,

For the last week the condensate pump in our airing cupboard which is fed from our boiler has been making increasingly noisy grinding (possibly vibrating) sounds at intervals, presumably when its trying to pump. The pump is an Altech Altcon PM an was already installed when we moved in circa 2.5 years ago.

Is there anything I can do to stop the noise or is it just a case of replacing the pump? How easy are they to remove and install? I'm thinking I could replace it with one the same so it would just be a swap over in essence.

How long do they normally last?

Thanks for any help in advance.
