UK Viessman Vitodens 100-W weather compensation

Good evening,

I have a Vitodens 100-W (Type B1HC, B1KC) boiler and I'm considering adding a weather compensation control.

I'd appreciate any insights on the pros & cons.

We spend around £1,200 a year on gas, Viessmann reckons you can save up to 15%, is this achievable?

Shaun, I don't think so, however, downstairs is all underfloor heating, with radiators upstairs; house was built in 2019, therefore insulation is really good.

Do you reckon it would work?

I would say you’ve got a good chance as it’s ufh possible upgrade the rads to match the design spec of the ufh ? Then remove the mixers and run on wc

Around 10-15% I would say but modify your program to stay on between your times and alter the curve instead of the room stat
