i was asked on tuesday how youd get water too a (shak)(shed)

im a member of a shooting range but theres no water on site for washing up ect

How could i get water on site
I was thinking a bout a gravity feed tank in a lock box on legs about 7ft high on the oppasite side of the wall were the sink is going Drop a pipe down and in throw the wall with a stopcock on it (bend on the end) as a spout
i know ill need too keep topping up the tank
ill keep the tank in a wooden lockable box wether tite out side ?????
the waste pipe will run too a soakaway thats sorted

did i say the job needs too be cheep as chips lol

The conventional way (and not too expensive if the club members spent a Saturday morning helping out) would be to dig a trench and lay a 20mm MDPE pipe from mains (or suitable point) to the shed, finish with a stop tap, and go from there.

What distances are involved to the nearest mains pipe and/or other building where there is water?

i think mains is out of of mind as it will need too be linked too mains in street or a really nice local yer right
it will be used for washing up cups hands filling kettle ect
is there no way of linking up a header tank but keep it out of harms way or even a small tank in the ground with pump ????? ? ? ?
im stumped lads the run of mains will be about 1/3mile i think and then getting it linked HELP

51WJGY525FL._SL500_AA300_.jpgwhat you need is 2 six inch nails, and a couple of these.
#if you want hot water let me know and that will cost you £80 for the battery shower heater.

wise old man once said,
we will dig the hole together young man, you dig it out and i will fill it.
