What tools do I need?

I am currently doing a plumbing course and am now looking to start to build up my tool box.

I would just like some ideas please on what tools are best for a plumber that is starting out.

Pencils, there's another thing I never have. I do nothing but buy them though, all I can ever find is one 3 inches long that won't sharpen as all the lead just drops out.

That'll be where you are going wrong my friend.You're not supposed to sharpen and use the damn pencils,you just stick 'em behind your ear and look professional....jeez,some folk have to be told everything.

Make sure you buy a qualty pencil and it will last a lifetime.
I still have the one i was given on the day i started in 1973. A good quality HB made of real wood. Not that plastic wood rubbish they do these days.
