Hi guys, I fit a honeywell wireless roomstat to my mums s-plan oil fired central heating system today.

its the first time I have fit a wireless stat to an s plan system and everything seems to work far apart from when you turn the stat to call for heat or to shut off the boiler it just seems to take a long time to shut off or turn on? Maybe a couple of minutes. There's just a log delay but it still works.

Has anyone else found this?

Cheers guys

Some wireless stats send out a signal every 30 seconds or so. This prolongs the battery life. The honeywell do take a while to react.

I fitted a Ideal Logic + at my cousins before Xmas with an Ideal wireless programmer/room stat, work sweets as a nut first time & was a very good price. & he loved a new gadget lol
