just give a quick check the pump connector at the bottom right/the black 2 wire one, as it can work loose when the control flap is lowered?.
as i have had one today!.

Bottle! Spoken o Worcester and thought it was the gas valve or the new board I put has the same fault as the old one but I can't see that!

Red saw the pump connector is fine on this one as the pumps running all the time

and you have checked the detection lead at the pcb as well? and for reversed polarity are you sure you got your fan terminal connections the right way round?

yes, the one i attended today also appeared to be running continuous, but what i am saying it can work loose off the board as the panel is raised and lowered causing 'blipping' to the fan voltage. just a thought.

The detection lead has tested ok , the pcb was new but I don't think it would have the same fault as the old one! And yes the fan terminals are the right way round but that wouldn't matter as the fan is ac but I did try it with the terminals the other way jut to check!

I have checked for loose terminals and couldnt find any. I am waiting on an LPG gas valve due to arrive tomorrow and I will try that!

Dockie, did you fix your problem as we are experiencing the exact same symptoms?

yeah I did after replaceing gas valve and wire to sensor the speaking to a Worcester engineer I the found out that it was the wiring of the static caravan had no frequency thus the boiled wouldn't work with the new board and fan!

Have u had an gas engineer look at ur boiler?
As I am registered and you need to be to fix these probs!

Thanks to all the replies!

Rang Worcester and they sent an engineer out the same day fixed the boiler for a fixed price. Not too sure what he did but he fitted quite a few new parts. Great service
