boilerbrigade

Morning guys, just after a little advice on a WB 15ri. Long story short the condense was fitted into a rain water pipe that had plants growing down from the gutter above... It blocked and the boiler backed up until it flooded. So it's the second time it has happened, WB replaced some bits under warranty and got it working about 2 years ago....

on my first visit I removed leaves, and spiders from the trap..... But could not get power to anywhere in the boiler past the Control board and went straight to volatile lockout no attempt at ignition sequence, replaced pcb on WB recommendation. Anyway now get power to fan, it clicks to begin ignition then volatile lock out again. All values are correct across gas valve coils, thermostats etc etc, flue ways are clear and I'm a bit stumped. I'm not a WB expert but I replaced condense pipe to main drainage obviously code plug is in etc etc - now it had been leaking for a while ( work top swollen below appliance) and I wondered if any of you WB guys had any other ideas?

Thanks in advance... - happy birthday to me;-)

This is in the public bit. According to forum rules cannot give advise on combustion appliances in public area.

In this instance, to keep costs down, it *may* be better to get WB out to sort it.

Oh I'm pretty new to the forum - how do I post in a non public area? Thanks for your reply
