I was looking at getting zoned heating in my house but my other half wil not have wireless control units is there any other way it can be done
 
because i like a challenge and i am trying to keep costs down, ive got all the electrics sorted in my head and sourced all the parts off ebay. 2 x 2 port valves, 1 x 10 way connector unit, 2 x room stats and 1 x 7 day 2 channel programmer. let me know if ive missed anything

Good on you. I hope it doesn't work out as false economy for you.

Don't forget a single point of isolation for the wiring. Don't want some poor bugger getting a big shock down the line.
