I have a insurance job to try and rescue a poorly installed quad shower the customer wants to save the tiling if possible and has a few spare so fingers crossed it may work , the loss adjuster allowed em £1500 that will just about cover materials. Kop

Not pretty so I will get my excuses in early
These were subbing jobs and I have to make what I’m given fit and it’s always a rush

I burnt the unit, didn’t have a compression elbow or a bracket to stand the expansion vessel upright

Got my tiling done today , plasterer came Friday so together we repaired the coving, bonded out the ceiling and wall to build out before skimming the whole area drying out nicely so all in all its coming together slowly, decorating hopefully middle of the week then the units need swapping over. Floor boarded, bottom tiles in, and grouted today. Stuff in Monday, just got to wait on flooring going down before bog can go in.

Getting to the end of this one, not helped by water leak on incoming water main so no water in the house. Makes grouting fun.
