Hi,
Since Thursday, my Myson Touch (model 1, wired) screen is unresponsive and I’m not sure why.

The screen itself has a full display but it doesn’t respond when you try to use it. It’s still working with the boiler so I have heating/hot water.

I contacted Myson who admitted they’d never seen this fault before but essentially there was nothing they could do (I’ve had it for 5 years). I’ve another one in the house which is working fine but only links to the upstairs heating.

Any help is appreciated to what may have happened or any fixes? (Aside from getting a new one first ha!)

Thanks in advance

Hi, it does and I’ve changed them tonight.

Still the same issue, screen is there but just no response from the touchscreen , would there be any other way of the factory reset?
Check the manual. No small buttons on the back of unit to reset? Or remove all power (batteries etc) for 10 mins? Might also have a button cell on the board which needs removing.

Could also try some light heat with a hairdryer.

Thanks for the advice, I’ll give it a go and see what I can see in the back of it
Thanks!

I occasionally use the hairdryer treatment on a Zanussi touch button washing machine but directed on to the touch buttons themselves for ~ 30 secs.
