Ive got an old Heatstore compact - removed the old screw but the front cover won't move? Any ideas on how to free it (Stock picture - I guess the shower is somewhere between 20-30 years old?) Close to using a hammer to do it!
Hi,
I am getting error code 385 on my boiler display which online states 'low voltage'.
Any idea on what I can try? Someone suggested replacing the fuse but no idea where to locate it, can anyone help?
Thanks
Ive heard its possible to get the pipework up the back of this appliance by removing a baffle fitted to the boiler. Is this correct?

Hello, everything is working with my rf controller except the comfort temp setting. It's set to 15. When I turn the dial it occasionally jumps to 15.2 then back again. The dial works on all other aspects of selecting things, timer, modes etc. As it's set to a lower temp than what it is, it won't...
We are renovating our house and after a lot of playing around I have worked out the best floorplan for upstairs. It means the only place I can fit our ensuite is in the middle of the house, the toilet will be 2.7m from the main soil stack in the family bathroom. It is in a straight line and I...

Hi Guys, I heeded and took your advice regarding calling in a Gas Safe engineer to look at this F5 fault on this Ferroli compact 30 boiler. It was good advice and I thank you for it. As I explained I am an electrical/ electronic engineer. When the gas engineer called he immediately took a look...

I've got a Fernox TF1 compact fitted in the airing cupboard, and discovered this evening after the boiler had no pressure that it is leaking.
I've seen previous threads about this where it leaks from the cap however mine appears to be leaking from the bottom inlet valve, not on the filter itself...

My Biasi boiler was cutting out, hence no hot water or heating and the fault code was saying faulty air pressure switch.
I replaced the switch and it worked all evening and then cut out again.
If I do a complete shutdown and re-start after a few hours the boiler works again but only for a few...
Hello All
The pump proving switch on the above named boiler does not retract.
As soon as the boiler is pressurised the pin comes out even with no power to the boiler.
The pin is not warped, the diaphragm has been replaced and there is no debri behind the diaphragm.
What causes the pump proving...
