Hello All
I need to change a leaking pipe and seal to a toilet bowl, it has been quietly dripping soaking the floor tiles and carpet . It has heavily limescaled up.
Do you think the screw fix part will fit by any chance and what do you think is the best sealant?
Thanks a lot for your help and...
Hi,
I live in Lisbon and I've just installed a Baxi combi boiler and connected it with a Google nest 3rd generation thermostat as the picture below depicts.

Hi all
Customer has purchased hive hot water and heating unit.
The current programmer is an ESI 3247b 3 channel.

Whilst investigating air in my hot water system / tapping noises from a radiator I noticed the return connection on the radiator isn’t fixed.Where the valve goes into the radiator just slides back and forth to the point I pulled it a bit far and water started coming out. Could this be the cause...
I am moving the position of a WC which connects to the roof vent pipe and discharge pipe.
To do so I would like to rotate the soil pipe about 40 degree anti clockwise.
My question is: will the multi purpose boss connector the soil connects to rotate if I re position it?
Thank you once again.

Hi all,
The shop below my flat has recently had gas and an external box installed. Two days ago British Gas fitted a meter then yesterday workman started drilling into box and messing with piping. The box door was left open so I had a look and took these photos.
Obviously I'm concerned...
Purchased a new Frig at Best Buy. The installer came, and left everything b/c there wasn't a shut-off valve behind Refrigerator. There is a copper water line, which is about 9' which goes through a hole in floor, and connects to water through a small dedicated shut-off valve. He wouldn't let me...
Anyone know what you call this connection? It comes off lead pipe on to 22mm plastic pipe. It's got a slight leak I need to replace, any idea what size the lead pipe would be? 25mm?
Hello All,
Yes, another 'leaking cyclinder' question...I'd be grateful for your advice.
Vented 90x45 cyclinder in loft. Connection in question is not flow or return but an additional 5th connection that seems part of a separate system with dedicated hot water tank and shower pump. Can't get...
Hi
I need to connect a kitchen sink to a soil stack but the soil stack has an inspection hatch and what looks like a reducer into a clay pipe into the floor making it very difficult to fit a boss.
This should be pretty straightforward with a boss, but the level where the boss needs to fit is...

Hi, Would anyone please be able to identify this older type of push-fit connector? The pipe is 15mm PX and I intend to carry out some modifications and replace with new 15mm JG Speedfit fittings. Are the older type fittings easily demountable?
Thanks in advance.
I have an old Viner cast iron high level bell cistern, with a lead flush pipe. My customer wants to keep the property old traditional style. Some of the internals have decade over the years. I know with modern high level cisterns the flush pipe is internal of the siphon. My question is will a...
Parents have had a steel beam put into their hallway ceiling to adequately support landing and stairs.
This means that the waste from a sink and shower will need to be reinstated slightly lower into the soil pipe, as the pipes will now run under rather than through the beams (the joists will be...
Hello. I'm connecting a long run of 50mm solvent weld waste pipe from a shower to the stack (compliant with regs hence 50mm). The soil stack branch is Hunter and I bought a Hunter solvent weld boss adapter to fit on it. However, the waste pipe (Floplast I think)is a loose fit in the adapter...

Hi,
I bought a new bath overflow and waste which I thought would be simple to install.
The existing seems to have been plumbed differently. Does any one know the connection I need in the second photo?
I had to cut the old overflow off as it wouldn't loosen.
I have a traditional British bathroom sink with 2 separate taps for cold and hot water. I need a bridge mixer tap for it. The problem is I only seem to find ones with 180mm tap connection centres, while mine needs 200mm. IS there hope?
