    When removing a old gravity system, is there a way of replacing with a conventional boiler with out compromising the open vent.... Many old gravity systems have the two heating pipes and two primary pipes at the boiler, then the feed and o/v coming off the top of the primarys at the cylinder...

    Vent valve height

    Looking at replacing a normal radiator with a modem taller vertical type in my son's bedroom. As top of new radiator will be higher than the system vent and pump, will this cause a problem? Or do I need to extend vent pipe to be highest point?
