I've noticed that if anyone asks for a cash price I never get the quote. So now I need a polite way to walk out half way through the quote appointment when they mention 'do you do a cash price?'. Any tips?

I just tell them that I'm under investigation from HMRC and that a cash price is exactly the same as any other means of payment.

Tell them cash is more expensive because it costs you to bank it. £6 / £1000
