Even though it appears useless. Most of the limited accounts I have set up have been superseeded with admin accounts in order to not needing to put a password in in case an exploit/worm etc. would require it for the installation ;).

And the few existing ones hacked my attempts to give them a stable system via hardware. For example by switching of the socket during update installations in order to safe energy. :banghead:

Run that by me one more time, please!

According to this small survey, Windows 8 has received a cool reception, however, it seems Microsoft are set to change that by way of a 1 Billion $ marketing campaign!

How could any other company compete with that, even if they had a comparative O/S on the table?

Pads, tablets, and smart phones generally come with their own operating systems, so although it's unlikely that windows will ever lose their hold over the PC market, the new generation of mobile devices will hopefully see MS as just one contender in the future O/S market.

google's Jelly Bean O/S, as used on the Nexus, can reply to voice activated requests - ask it a question, and it will give you a reply. The hardware is by ASUS, one of (if not the best) hardware manufacturer in the world, and it retails at under £200.

It's sized between an ipod and a smart phone, so is very portable, while being large enough to read/view easily.

Can ... any other company compete

This Win 8 is so different for existing users ... but similar to mobile devices

I think its money spent to convice us its USABLE

( but may need more appropriate hardware to enjoy it )

Turbo for mouse --or use Keyboard on old hardware
