Any customer that says they have a "workshop"
For workshop, see garden shed or wooden bench with a vice on in garage

Collecting keys for a job cos the tenants not home and feeling relieved cos you can finally go go a pooh - and when you ring the bell the tenant answers 😡

Or dashing upstairs for a dump the moment the tenant goes off on the school run at 8.45am only to discover, mid splashdown, no bog roll!

The socks I've wasted over the years...

Collecting the keys etc only to hear the alarm sound when you enter or a ruddy big non friendly dog.

1- Not knowing the code word when the alarm company call the house after you've set the smoke alarm off.
2- Hearing the sound of an approaching fire engine five minutes after you set the smoke alarm off.
3- Trying to stop the said firemen charging into the house because you set the smoke alarm off.
4- Setting off the smoke alarm in general really.

On another point, I've never been worried about taking a dump in someone's house. We all have to go. Mind you I've squatted in the back of the van on a few occasions.

Setting the burglar alarm off and the old bill showing up at a red care customers house and not knowing the specific password! Very exciting not.

Just ask them simple everyone ****s just don't leave a mess and open a window

I'm always peed off why ceramic manufacturers make the hole so big for the basin taps, bath taps, toilet till valve, flush valve etc... Means you gotta be extra careful positioning the tap or the cistern will leak where the hole is darn baggy 🙁

As above ^^, and I would add to that, - kitchen sink mixers that barely cover the hole in the sink. The O ring seal in base of mixers is normally just slightly wider than the hole and you would need the accuracy of fine engineering to get it right.

I'd say my #1 pet hate would be a customer with no kitchen roll/ toilet roll. I despair.

I've got an opposite of a pet hate too - a pet love, when I find compression fitting thats barely done up and the olive slips right off the pipe letting me do whatever needs to be done without having to hacksaw it off.

I've seen about half of those hates but the worst, and my boss despaired as well, but we put the cover back and left it as it was because it not on the list of work to be done.

Airing cupboard, 22mm copper from tundish of unvented cylinder stuck in with sealant in 4" waste branch to wc.

College bathroom assessment - 'Can you do all the plumbing under the bathroom in Speedfit not copper, and we don't have any 45s, and please re-use the existing notches even though they are in really stupid places because the last person did it wrong'

Rippled pipe bends

Jay would you mind deleting my quote. Don't want Croppie to do "stuff" to me
