all problems would be avoided if toilet was ca 10 cm to the right, can't believe this was in fairly new build, lol

Saw this one today on a landlords property! It's had several "tradesmen" look at it as the bath has been leaking & causing problems with ceiling below! Other tradesmen couldn't see where the leak was coming from & just put it down to an ill-fitting bath screen so just applied layer after layer of silicone!

The leak still appeared immediately but nobody could work out why!

Took me 30 seconds to find the leak!

It was coming out of the push-fit tee as the flexible copper pipe wasn't seated in the tee correctly!

Thats rough!

What the heck is that? I've never ever ever seen anything like that!

That's exactly what it is Steve!

Absolutely horrendous!

If I wasn't already sat down I would have fallen over laughing!

What's not quite clear from the picture is that the other end of the pipe is made into a compression joint which is part buried by about 2 inches of what I can only guess is either tile adhesive or decorators filler! Either way, it's comical!

Gods honest truth. was in a domestic property. Jubilee clipped to a short bit of copper then f/i to hob. i only found it trying to route pipes for a plynth heater..

Yes mate, the old asbestos flue was left hanging from the roof of the loft aswell. Rang landlord to tell her and she thought I was trying to fiddle her. Needless to say still waiting to be paid for the LSC. And before anyone digs me out I was working alongside a GSR
