Agreed. With saniflo there is a 10 golden rule page on the web, grundfos ipage is harder to find and the rest don`t tell you. Thankfully if is not the first two I walk away.
Had a callout to a house, nice place, in fact VERY nice place. Two oil-fired stacked boilers, top one leaking and filled up bottom one ruining the burner. This is what it looked like inside :33:
Sealed system, expansion vessel totally :nono:/full of water, high limit pressure switch held together with electrical tape and NO SAFETY VALVE! I wonder why it failed after only 17 years? :clown:
Best bit: the top boiler had a new burner. Owner (who's not short of a bob or three) wants top burner fitted to bottom boiler and top one disconnected and left. Fine at the moment, but come the winter and the heating and HWS is a lot more than one boiler can cope with he'll be moaning that he wants a new one installed pronto!
Nothing hugely shameful just some Why?? moments:
You've run out of cement? just put some wood over the rest of the hole and stick it to the wwall with silicon... what it's fallen off? leaving a nice gap into the property?
Same property.. may as well run that condensate in copper, with some compression elbows in side and a wee bit over flow pipe too... all van spares used
I'm reporting this thread! I'm sick of this abuse. I do a dishonest days work for 4 days honest pay.
There are nearly 2000 posts slagging off my work and or choices of material . Must be so nice for you perfect peters who follow the "rulz" and stuff. My work is safe and in a good engineer OK?
The bucket is only temporary... I forgot my drill!!!
Should have left the condensate drain shorter so the bucket can be emptied.
Then again..could use a ladel to empty condensate into another bucket and tip it outside.

So what are you saying Ermi, you work 1 -1/4 days a week for a weeks pay.
This site gives you free advertising - what have you got to complain about?
As for your choice of materials - I would be conversing with the manufacturers of your choice and ' declaring' that you have promoted their products on a popular plumbing forum and have had over 2000 post regarding the work that you do and the materials used!!!
You could be on a real winner here.
I wish I was in your boat
My work is nowhere up to your standards
Unfortunately for me - my miserable claim to fame is that I installed a new product over her and the manufactures came out to look at the installation - took photos for their 'records' and did some testing.
Next thing - my install is in their brochure and all over the web.
I wish I had the fame and possible fortune you have awaiting you
