Anyone help with this problem?

Noisy heating system. 12 month old main combi. Always noisy heating since install.
Boiler in garage. Pipes enter house via master bedroom this is where the noise is worst and the kitchen directly below. Pipework is 8mm.

The noise sounds like mains water does when passing through a pipe.

Meter not spinning and prv not passing before you ask!

System was flushed and a magnaclean fitted. Very little crude on magnet!

First rad in house (bedroom) one pipe vibrates slightly to the touch.

12-14 rads on system.

Rest of house quiet just the bedroom and kitchen!

Any ideas?

how far is the rad from the boiler could be air in the pipes?

Different sound croppie. Sounds like mains water running but really loud. Like turn up the tv to drown out sound from the kitchen loud. Wake you up in the night loud

Auto bypass in boiler shagged? Or kettling in heat ex from lack of or incorrect chemical dosing.

Baxi heateam gave the boiler a clean bill of health. Their visit was four or five hours....

That reads to me as they couldn't figure out what it was! The only thing you can do is put a 22mm open bypass on it, if that doesn't cure it its got to be the boiler.

Noise is present as soon as the boiler is fired and remains as long as boiler is running. A bypass fitted shouldn't be open all the time. Or are you suggesting a gate valve rather than an auto bypass?

Oh and it was present on old worcester combi...
They figured a new boiler was in order and it changed nothing re the noise

No I was suggesting it be fully open to test if its the system. Sounds like a venturrie effect in the pipework.

Might be worth removing the heat ex and check the operation. Whats the systems water like? Bar from the cleaning valve

Hmm venturi effect, that's a possibility. It sure sounds like an accelerated flow through the initial section of flow or the last section of return. But what could be the cause of such a phenomena?? Its certainly not something i have encountered before....

Good shout.
P.s where's tam when you need him lol:)

No magnaclean a new addition. Noise was on old boiler too. Pre-magnaclean
