the fuse keeps blowing so by a process of elimination i dicsconnected, stat, valve, boiler, clock, pump etc,in turn and when the pump was disconnected the fuse did not blow so one would think the pump was the fault,so i changed the pump and the fuse blew with a new pump and wiring, any ideas

You are doing the right thing mate, the usual is pump or fan that blows fuses.
All you can do is work through the ignition sequence and disconnect one thing at a time along the sequence untill you find it.

Of course it may not be a component but the wiring to it, electrical faults can be a knightmare.
