My maths. £3450????

Can you leave a boiler temporarily wired??
No, but every company does until the sparky's get there.

on a plug yes, not on an immersion spur like many do.

a company i worked for used to pay £5 for temping up but then decided to not pay it to me with the excuse that if they paid it they are breaking the law because im the plumber not the sparks. So the next week i temped, commissioned and then cut the plug off and went home. They had to send a sparky out on call out. When they quized me i said its against the law to leave it temped.

the stupid thing is im a qualified electrician :(

who is to pay tax and vat on this calculation ?

Rip out old gear, install 6/7 rads and 30 Wo.cdi combi, all in copper - £3700 down here in sunny Brighton ! And im usually undercutting higher quotes !

You right mate , probably time to sleep as was long day:yawn:

Some guys are not VAT registered Stan, therefore don't charge VAT. Some guys (like myself) dont pay 20% Tax as I'm ltd. (I only pay Tax on my Annual Profits).

i know that ,on his post he listed inc VAT ,my question was what will he allowed for that if job will be 4 days and 1000 labour cost
