Discuss New workshop unit in the Gaining Plumbing Experience area at Plumbers Forums

Some of you guys have been asking to see the pictures. There's not much to look at right now, more an empty shell, but looking to have everything done inside by early New Year.
First pic is the workshop area, second is where the showroom is going to be, third is the Kitchen area, fourth is the rear with the roller shutters and the last is the Vokera combi. The building is 1,000sq ft and I'm really looking forward to this.

The beginning of a chain of outlets, we can all say we knew him back when he took on his first :)

A fine unit only limited by your imagination, best of luck with it.

Can we get an update on this ?
Of course you can. I've been working round the clock and I'm booked up for the next 2 months, so unfortunately time is short to allow me to work in the unit. Sparks have been and completely rewired everything and put a much bigger and stronger consumer box in. Phone lines and broadband are in courtesy of BT and everything has been moved to the unit. Having all that space to work is brilliant! Aqualisa rep is coming to help kit out the showroom as are other sanitary ware manufacturers that I deal with.

Things are moving along, albeit slowly due to work load, but everything should be done and dusted by about June. Anyone who wants to travel North to see the place once opened is very welcome.

Reps will be supplying non working display model showers and point of sale materials, like brochures and posters etc. I'm getting sanitary ware at very low prices for display purposes only and shower cubicles. I'm also going to buy the bathroom wall panels I use direct from the manufacturer and save a fortune by cutting out the company who supplies me.
Looking at a new van as well as the old lady is starting to guzzle the diesel and mot is due. She's class 7 LGV so repairs and the mot are not cheap.

Great to hear things are progressing nicely, a lot of work involved don't forget to give yourself a few short breaks.

Going in fresh can help you see things from a different perspective also allows you to consider different options.

Keep up the good work.

All you need now is a lapdancing pole, poker table, bar, and strobe lights.

And Croppie on the door.

Brilliant, definite additions to the unit......but I'll definitely pass on Croppie as I'm trying to attract people into the showroom, not scare the hell out of them.
