The problem is when the gas central heating is on I get very little hot water out the shower. When the heating is off there is plenty of hot water.

I have set the thermostat to have the hot water come on a hour first to the heating a vi've versa.

It's a potterton superprima and mixer gravity Fed shower.

Thanks in advance.

Okay. I have carried out a few little tests.
Test 1-BOTH ON
Hot water from the taps. Luke warm shower
Test 2-Water ON heating OFF
Hot taps and hot shower.
Test 3-Everything OFF
Hot water in taps eventually you can hear the boiler kick inetc
Additional things-
The thermostat knob on the shower is always over 75% turnedincluding the button pressed in. The flow control is non-existent its on oroff.
Above The outlets for the water tank are at the top and aresplit one direct into the power shower pump and the other into the roof.
Boiler is at MAX and thermostat on water heater is at 65.
There is no balancing valve (that I can see)
There are adjustable valves on the hot and cold going intothe power shower pump could I restrict the flow of the cold water?
Its been an on-going thing. Still waiting on the landlord.

I'm signing in the rain... just singing in the rain.. Oh not a glorious feeling..
I'm just looking at earlier post and doing this 2+2=4-1+1.. .brb

This is like doing a crossword without the picture and the dog eating some of the pieces and you haven't noticed, never mind Spanner more important than a crappy shower the tubes are running again.

Let's hope next week Monday doesn't go like it did again... the weather and the whole place was like West end traffic and the busses were the same.. overloaded and if you're standing on the upper deck the bus "AUTOMATICALLY" does not move which meant you got more traffic bus queues. Heard people talking about it. Not funny

Spanner,

Just noticed you must live not too far off where Joe Meek lived in Hollaway Rd, if you are into music he wrote Telstar and recorded it in a shop
on the Hollaway Rd, fancy introducing a little bit of culture into UKPF , this will be a first. Where you live must be fully characters, one or two heavy
weights in the 50s and 60s. Perhaps you are much to young, wish I was starting out in Plumbing again, I would be a PFP push fit plumber
