Yep most places I work are around the 50-75 mbar mop but mip can vary anywhere from 75mbar to 1 bar depending on what's around

So a 3 bar test should be ok then hey

Hehe. I kind of skipped that one. My bed time reading now is specification of gas sdr11 pe pipe

So reading the pipes testing procedure for gas, it says to reduce temperature effects the trench must be backfilled. That is surprising

I contacted another department today a d all they could tell me in that area it is all low pressure installations which will supply a MOP of 19 to 21mb. Does this help?

Ask what the supply pressure is eg before reg

I see in this table it is below 100mb so MOP x 2.5

You need to find out the Mains pressure before the Governor that controls your installation pressure. Cadent will tell you what the supply pressure is in that area. If you get that, I can look in IGE/UP/1 and tell you the pressure you need.

Which ever is greater so mop might be 21mbar so 52mbar test

But mip could be 75 mbar so 82 mbar test

So mip is your testing pressure

I have talked to 4 people now and they don't know any figures just that the pressure in the mains gas pipe in the road is low pressure. Very frustrating

To be honest, Cadent would of had it but it is not there area. It is SGN.
