So anyway went to a job today; Ideal classic on a S plan, boiler not running.

Both two port valves were shot, heads removed(for over 2 years) customer controlling CH and HW by dabbling with the spindles on the valves.

Programmer borked.

Pump burned out tripping the switched fused spur.

And they want me replace the pump & mash the boiler & pump LNE into the switched fused spur - I said no; because too me thats just bodging or am I just too fussy?

I would have said new pump, new programmer and 2 new 2 port heads.

I must be fussy as well?

overcharge them!!

i will do it for £250!! will even include the ports in a signed frame if thats what they want..lol

I hoped you charged them your £150 call out fee and left.

had a call on sunday, I have a leak, I know what is wrong and how to fix it but dont have the correct parts! Do you have compression fittings in your van?, so I answered Yes, how much to come out and fix my leak? Being a kind soul, and being dressed in my best bib n tucker I informed the potential customer £85 (only needed a couple of olives probably, so off gear into boiler suit and back in time for lunch and grand daughter play time). Got told to fek off, so no need to miss any time with grand daughter. Got a call 30 minutes later, same customer informing me he has a bloke doing the job for £25, but could he buy some parts off me!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You all know the answer:)
