Personally I think this thread should've been deleted before SP was allowed in as its caused more aggro then it was worth!

Leo21 has made some good points but equally so have others (especially as most of the talk in here is banter).

As SP has been allowed in I suggest that he's allowed to remain but his posts should be monitored.

SP - my only advice is to listen to the guys on here as they'll help you loads and will probably get you out of a few sticky situations. Also, if you find yourself doing something that you've never been shown before then just ask and someone will put you straight.

If the thread had been deleted it would've only been reposted. Again, and again, and again.

Sometimes it's best to let things run their course as long as there's nothing truly offensive and no matter how disappointing you find the attitudes in it.

I hope to see SP back in because he does have a good attitude. I've spoken to him a few times in PM because of my experiences with a very dyslexic friend and believe he's the real deal there.

yes, he's gone arse about face with his training but as described in the first paragraph in the 'Arms Access' post -

"The Plumbers Arms is an area that you're only allowed to view if you've been granted access (given the key to let yourself in, yes we're that friendly in this pub). To gain access you HAVE to be a professional plumber, or one going through their training process."

You will probably also note the bit about suppliers not being allowed in.

I set the ball rolling last year to admit Ray and believe now that that was the best thing for the forum. Ray only supplies trade and, understandably, is reluctant to discuss prices out in the open. Ray is a regular and some say humorous (!!!) poster. Richard from ********* is in a similar vein. I'd consider him too.

As I've said before with trainees. Cut the guy some slack. He could very well surprise us all.

And go easy with the dyslexia thing.

It would be a funny old world if people didn't have different views.

It would be a completely sh ite world if they weren't allowed to express them.

We're all grown up here. To be honest, there is much worse dished out in any workplace.

I didn't mean for it to be a witch hunt, and as I said a good laugh. But I can't not say what I think. With some guidance could be a good tradesman, BUT arse about face way of doing it. And I can't condone it. As for Ray, well accidents happen.

Forgot to add, as you may have noticed I'm no professer myself.

I need some taps changing, what's her number? I could do it myself, but where's the fun in that.

amazing what turns up when you put plumbing training into youtube. Mandy and her friends will teach you to solder and even install a room stat. Savannah will even tech you to make french toast. I love the internet :8:

And Ashley will show you how to field strip your Glock

Tara teaching how to solder is rivetting. I've watched it a few times to master the technique.

if only I had the balls to turn the sound up!

Too bad she only soldered half a joint. She'll bugger that up when wants to solder the other side of the fitting......

Why did I spot that.......
Why wasn't I just watching boobs!!
