My toilet is flushing away waste fine but within a couple of hours the water in the pan is turning brown as tho a number 2 is dissolving! There is no blockage, Iv lifted the man hole cover to check the drains aren't blocked and its all fine. Iv tried putting on rubber gloves to check there isnt anything in the pipe and its all clear. Drain cleaner hasnt worked, bleach hasnt worked!! This only started a couple of weeks ago and nothing I do seems to resolve it. I have smelled the water and it is definitely a poo smell! Although the toilet works fine it looks unsightly. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
